Today was kind of one of those days.

We NEED to get the boys on a better schedule. Cooper hasn't napped in 4 days and hasn't bathed in close to 3 weeks. Why? Because he throws the tantrum of all tantrums. and I don't necessarily want him thrashing around and screaming in 10 inches of water. He sure does stink though.

Nash refuses to nap more than 30 minutes at a time. Its frustrating. I know that I am a MUCH happier mom when I can get those few moments of baby-free silence. They have become very far and few between lately.

Thankfully I have the most amazing husband who keeps me sane and helps me more than I could ever ask of him.  Tonight he drove home from Denver with a wired, screaming, and VERY upset 2 year old who hadn't napped all day just so that I could have a peaceful drive home in the other car.  I am so very grateful for him and his love for our family.

Here are a few pictures from our day...

Cooper in all his misery.  This was after finding out that he had to go to bed.  He was M-A-D!

We found some very inexpensive vintage model airplanes and hung them from Coop's ceiling.  He LOVES them.  When we put them up a few days ago he stayed in his room and laid on his bed staring up at them.  We have another small one on the other side of them room.

I'm sorry naps and baths are difficult at the moment. It is sooo hard when you don't get even half an hour to yourself. I hope the phase passes quickly. Just try to stay consistent. Tell Cooper he has to have some quiet time in his room for atleast half an hour, he doesn't have to sleep, but can play with his cars or trains etc - if Lachie doesn't want asleep I'll do that and he ends up falling asleep anyway.

I'll be thinking of you and hoping it gets better.
