This past week

The last week has been so much fun.  Its has been 100% different than we thought it would be, but we're loving it.  Nash has been eating, sleeping, and pooping and thats about it.  :) He's been so calm and happy and I am hoping that it stays!  He has actually given us a few 3 and 4 hour stretches of sleep at night.  Cooper has been adjusting a lot better than I thought he would.  When he wakes up in the morning he asks where his baby is.  Its so cute!  He even asks to hold him sometimes...I never thought that would happen.  Coop's vocabulary has EXPLODED over night it seems like.  He repeats everything and remembers it.  Its gotten us into trouble a few times, but for the most part he is just entertaining.  Its non-stop talking when this kid is awake.  We LOVE it.  We bought a swing (i'll put some pictures up in a few days) that has helped SOOOOO much.  Today was my first day w/o Clint and I was able to put Nash in the swing after he nursed first thing in the morning and spend some one on one time with Cooper.  We made oatmeal and had 'coffee talk' over breakfast (he talked, I listened). haha.  I love being a mom.

Here are some pictures from the last week...

This was from our first day home.  Cooper found his shadow and played with it for awhile, waving at himself.  It was really funny.

Story time before bed.  Cooper was leaning in to give Nash a kiss.

Cooper holding Nash this morning.  He freaked out when I tried to take him out of his arms, and they both say there, happy a can be, for a little while.

Gas grins. :)

Cooper at Nanas playing with his fire truck on the deck.

Relaxing..I love the frog legs!

Hanging in Daddy's hands.

I was trying to be creative today at my parents...this is what happened...he got stuck in a basket.

I love the basket idea... too bad it didn't pan out. I love the frog legs too...and all the tiny grunts. Alyssa is almost 5 months and it's gone by so fast. Hug that boy as much as you can. He's only tiny once!

Hey Lora, this is Ashley(skinner)Jones, I was so excited to hear from you!! Your family is so cute! Congratulations, little Nash is adorable, and I love the name. Sometimes it still feels so crazy that we are all grown up now. I am glad I have your blog address, now we can keep in touch!

He is so cute! The basket photo is definitely my favorite. Or the one where Nash is lying on the blanket...looks like he's sleeping on a cloud. :)
(This is Derek, by the way. I work with Clint at Target.) :P
